These are much nicer than the con pictures from last month. I think it also shows off the dynamic of the two faces much better.

Leader
This is based on an illustration by Jamiyla Lowe. I have known Jamiyla since highschool and we both ended up in Toronto at OCAD.
I saw “Leader” at Le Gallery a couple years back and knew I had to make a toy of it. This is the Idol version. Another version with a realistic paint job and worshipping monks will be coming in the future.
God: Incognito
This bust is a sculpt and design by my ally Phil Woollam. I smoothed out the sculpt, molded, casted, painted (with help from Tara Krebs) and flocked. Phil has been concentrating on his poster art lately and this character was born out of the style he’s been developing.
He is a God who is trying to blend into human society, but his two faces make it harder than expected to conceal his Godliness.
Like the Ghost Pig he will be up in the shop soon. I will keep you all posted.
Ghost Pigs!
This is my concept and execution. I was inspired by the fact that my studio is in close proximity to a slaughter house. It gets pretty creepy there late at night. The mind tends to play tricks on you. I was thinking that if I encountered a ghost it would probably be a Ghost Pig and out popped the idea for this piece.
These were first available at Fan Expo. I plan on doing a maximum edition of 20. When I get a handful more cast I will open up my shop and have my first online sale. Stay tuned.
My designer toy label is having it’s debut at Fan Expo in Toronto right now! Come see us in Artist Alley at booth A218. I will post some close ups soon.
God : Incognito #BigTrubble #designertoys (Taken with Instagram)
A quick shot of a finished God bust. This will be one of my debut items at Fan Expo in Toronto this August. It is a collaboration with poster artist and sculptor Phil Woollam. He did the initial sculpt while I refined it to a smooth state and did all the molding, casting and finishing (with some paint assistance by Tara Krebs).
He’s about 8 inches tall, cast in resin, air brushed with cell vinyl paint and flocked.
